Mallorca's south-west corner is a knot of small hills and harbours. Sant Elm looks out to the island of Sa Dragonera, and Port d'Andratx sits in a deep bay full of boats. The roads between them climb over the headlands and drop back to the sea, again and again. It is a corner of the island that feels a long way from the busy resorts.
This 22.6 km loop has no big climbs, but it is never flat. There are three main rises in the first half: two short ones at around 4%, then a steeper climb of more than 5% for over 2 km after about 9 km. The second half is gentler, with a long, slow drag back to the start. The total is 403 m of climbing.
Atlas rates it moderate. It is a good route for short climbing efforts: three to ten minutes of hard work followed by a chance to recover, which is exactly the kind of riding that builds strength for rolling sportives.
In Atlas Indoor you ride the real roads in 3D, with your trainer adding resistance on every rise. Ride it at an even effort for a steady hour, or push every climb and treat the descents as recovery.
How to ride Sant Elm and Port d’Andratx indoors
Take the first two rises at tempo. The climb after 9 km is the hardest part of the ride, so ride it at threshold and recover on the descent that follows. The final drag is gentle; keep a steady rhythm to the finish.

A controllable smart trainer changes resistance with the road's gradient. A power meter or basic Bluetooth trainer also works for a recorded ride. Without either, you can explore the route with demo watts, but demo rides don't count towards results.
