West of Palma, a cluster of hills hides some of the quietest villages on Mallorca. Galilea sits high on a ridge with views out to the sea, and Puigpunyent lies in a green valley below it. The road between them is narrow, twisting and almost free of traffic.
This route is built around one climb. After a short start, the road rises for about 4 km at an average of 5% to the top at 428 m, with the village of Galilea near the top. Then it drops down the other side into Puigpunyent. The whole route is 12.7 km with 271 m of climbing.
Short routes like this are perfect for a quick session. You can ride it in well under an hour, and the climb is long enough for a proper effort of 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat it to build a full workout, or use it as a test of your climbing form. It is also one of the few climbs near Palma that feels truly remote.
In Atlas Indoor you ride the real road in 3D, with your smart trainer following the gradient. Chase your own ghost from last time, or share a ride with club-mates and see who reaches Galilea first.
