Behind the beaches of the bay of Alcúdia lies a wide, flat plain of farmland, crossed by quiet roads between stone walls and windmills. This loop links three of its towns, the old walled town of Alcúdia, Muro and Sa Pobla, on roads that are a favourite with groups warming up for bigger days in the mountains.

It is almost flat: 44.8 km with 222 m of climbing, and a high point of just 65 m. The only rise worth mentioning is a long, gentle drag in the first half that kicks up to about 4% for a kilometre near 20 km. The rest is open, steady riding.

Flat roads are underrated. This is the route for building aerobic fitness, working on a smooth pedal stroke, or riding at a steady, sustainable effort without the gradient getting in the way. It is also a good route for long tempo blocks. Ride it at the start of the week to set up a harder session later on.

In Atlas Indoor you ride the real roads in 3D, with your trainer following every small change in gradient. Load a structured session, ride with your club, or use it as an easy spin the day after a hard climbing ride.
